Brunello Cucinelli
Fashion Films
I have been collaborating with Italian luxury brand Brunello Cucinelli for many years. For each collection, we came up with a concept that took inspiration from the overall mood. This allowed us to explore various film themes. Below, is a selection of my favourite projects I directed for the brand.
Skyward Move
DP: Ed Gibbs
Skyward Move was filmed in the Swiss Alps and it has a clear spy mood. In fact, I was inspired by some of my favourite noir movies. The video features two talent who follow each other throughout a cold and snowy landscape, as they finally meet for a game of chess in a very unusual location.

Animae Somnia
DP: Erik Norlund
Animae Somnia - or in English The Dream Soul - was filmed in Sweden, in various locations including a barn, a disused marble cave and a misty lighthouse. In this film, the protagonist keeps waking up from a dream, every time collecting clues that will take her to her final destination.

Mirroring Nature
DP: Ed Gibbs
To celebrate the fall/winter collection of Italian luxury brand Brunello Cucinelli, I filmed ‘Remote Wanderers’ in the beautiful and cold Icelandic landscape. The film is full of suspense and follows two protagonists in various locations.

Bar
DP: Ed Gibbs
The clear inspiration behind Bar is 1960s Italian Neo Realistic movies such as the work of Federico Fellini and Vittorio De Sica. The video has no music but it has plenty of sound effects, in order to concentrate the viewer’s attention to each scene and each outfit.
